Jóhann Jóhannsson: Cinematic Suites — Anthony Weeden conducted the London Contemporary Orchestra at the Barbican Centre, London, in an evening celebrating the late Icelandic composer’s iconic film scores. The programme featured suites from Sicario, The Mercy, and Prisoners in the first half, followed by suites from The Theory of Everything and Arrival after the interval. The concert was presented as part of the Barbican’s Ice and Fire: Icelandic Concert Series, produced in association with Baba Yaga’s Hut.
